This course exposes students the concepts and theories of development. This course also discusses the significance of development towards a developing country such as Malaysia. Among the topics discussed are development patterns and measure, theories of economic growth, allocation and human resource, saving, investment and capital flow as well as development policies. Apart from that, Malaysia economic status will also be discussed in relation to development policies applied.
